Everglades Watercolor


Here are the first 9 watercolors from the Everglades.

I can't say that they convey the stunning beauty found here... but it's a start!

I believe it's important to begin the series-- as I've already amassed 1500 reference photos to work from.

There will be more paintings to come in the next year.

These are beautiful postings from Florida.......ahhhhh these gator fotos....I was freaking out!!!
Unreal!!!! Can you imagine you are sitting somewhere painting and HE comes out of nowhere.....omg!!!

i LOVE the fact that you enjoy the new paintings. it's just a taste of what's to come~
sorry cynthia that the gator photos are a bit unsettling. but truth be told... it's unsettling the see them!

Thank you loredana for liking my watercolors. i like them too... i feel very comfortable painting them... wonderful medium.

Dawna.. did NOT see the shuttle launch.. but if i had known.. i probably would have driven up there to be with you! ah.. next time.!!
