small INTRUDERS opening!

A wonderful evening... full of fun, bugs, laughter, and good cheer!  WE had an amazing turnout-- despite the wicked weather.

The rain couldn't keep people away.  Thank you to ALL my  very good friends and clients who came anyway!  Love you all.

There were 107 small INTRUDERS--  9 big INTRUDERS....  a beautiful children's book, 16 beautifully designed wallpapers with insects, note cards, designer TEES....  a huge array of celebration!

Not to mention-- over 60 paintings sold.. and tons of books and tees....

Thank you thank you everyone...for making my special evening a success!

Work has begun on the CHILDREN'S BOOK!

I am excited to be finally working on the initial draft of the children's book that will accompany the SMALL INTRUDERS insect show.

The only way I can see what I'm writing-- is to lay all the small watercolors on my studio floor and arrange and rearrange.  There is text-- quotes, folk lore, poetry... fun facts about insects that will be interspersed between.

It's fun...confusing,... arduous... and a challenge!

I've never done this before.... but I am determinded to write an interesting view of the bug world.

The book is being designed by the talented Kristen.

I will be offering it at the exhibition -- and on my website in the Spring.

YAY!
