STILL WATERS- Watercolor from the Everglades Series

This large watercolor is from the Everglades Series I have been working on.

The pond scape format of slow moving water is indiciative of the wonderful imagery I am trying to portray to convey that complex ecological region.

The Everglades is prinicipally a slow moving "river of grass".... for miles and miles.

The million acre park is a pristine wilderness-- sheltering many animals, birds, and plants.

Over the coming months-- I hope to pursue a complete exhibtion of this national park.

Two Watercolors of France

I have painted two small watercolors of impressions of my tme in France. It was a brief trip--- mostly teaching and hanging out with students.

However, I did manage to get a number of photos-- and will produce an exhibition of France in the coming months.

These two watercolors are starting the series.

Come back for more!

A Really Small Watercolor!

Here is a real small watercolor swimmer. It's a gem of a painting... perfect in it's proportion.

I share it with you. There are two more on my blog " Watercolors Under 300."

Small Watercolor of France!

Here is the first of a few studies from my stay in France. It's not much -- and I really haven't had time to go over my foundational photography for images and ideas.

But... I started this while there... and finished it yesterday.

I would like to begin a series of small scale watercolors that describe the scents, tastes, views, landscape, and ambiance of France!
