Tons of art galleries in Ft. Lauderdale --- mostly on Las Olas Blvd -- but others sprinkled through the town.
Sam [my brother] and I found a lot of people willing to talk and share ideas about the art in the area. For the most part... as you would expect -- sales are down and the economy is hurting them.... but there seems to be an air of perseverance
-- and I found the spirit refreshing.There is NO loss for people on the streets-- the area is crawling with northerners and tourists. It's wonderful to see all the cars, people, enthusiasum..... it's so different that St Louis!
