Here are the places I went to in Titusville FLORIDA ---
Dixie Crossroads Seafood Restaurant-- yum and double yum for rock shrimp...
Also the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge-- especially the Bio Lab Road. this was an awesome drive-- where we saw the most incredible vistas and views of pristine, undeveloped, natural FLORIDA! Saw grass, brackish water, prehistoric animals -- beaches, dunes, pelicans, turns, cormorants.. and much more.
By the refuge is NASA's Cape Kennedy where i saw the VAB [Vertical Assembly Building
] -[ see photo]. this is where they mate the external tank rockets and the solid rocket boosters with the space shuttle. kool.huh?the shuttle that will go on FEB 19th.. from Launch Pad A. i am hoping to come back to see it. [never have--]
We also drove out to Canaveral National Seashore and had lunch at Eddy Creek with the pelicans... we saw bitterns, Roseate Spoonbills, and Florida Scrub Jays, armadillos, and gators!!! [see photo again... prehistoric to SPACE AGE! all in ONE photo!]

SOOOO cool. love the croc!!!!! or um alligator,,,,,never remember which is which. hope the rain has stopped. we're 50 degrees and I sat out to catch rays which are my soul food. hugs
