New PORTRAIT watercolor

New portrait today....

I had a wonderful day in the studio..working and thinking about the future... as well as all I've been through in the last few years.

This is what I came up with.

I hope to make this painting into a larger statement some day.

Enjoy!

This is so beautiful with a sense of longing or loneliness.

Another beauty, uh I guess it's the same beauty in a new painting. Nice.

Thank you Rhonda... I believe I agree with you ... there is something in the eyes that is telling. [more later]

Thank you Doug! I love the fact that you are so supportive of my work. Means a lot to me.

Thank you Studio !! I am totally in agreement w you about the eyes. One can not paint a portrait at this stage in life...w/o showing some humanity in the eyes. Eyes are the window to the soul...no?

Thank you Portrait .... love your post! Keep them coming!

Thank you everyone!

Thank you Christiane! Do you think the eyes are kind of sad?

I agree the eyes are compelling, but the posture is most intriguing. Much seems to be going on.

I stopped honking, but I'm still going by...still seeing you working.
