Small Watercolor of France!

Here is the first of a few studies from my stay in France. It's not much -- and I really haven't had time to go over my foundational photography for images and ideas.

But... I started this while there... and finished it yesterday.

I would like to begin a series of small scale watercolors that describe the scents, tastes, views, landscape, and ambiance of France!

Viva la France!

What a rich, gorgeous scene. I can feel the sun, smell the greens, and hear the birds. It's so beautiful, Carol.

Great painting Carol. The trees are just having tet-a-tet talk. And I love the reflection in the water :)
I wish I will be there right now..
Thank you,
Irina
