Goldies!! Goldfish in a Bag-- Watercolor from Asian Influence Series

These goldfish ROCK!  I am finally getting the hang of painting what my heart saw on Tung Choi Street in Hong Kong!

Those precious and fragile fishes-- swimming away in their perfect little water-worlds!

YAY~

and what makes it more special-- is that they are loved and appreciated-- and taken home as beloved pets.

Beautiful colors, as always :) Jerry brought home a goldfish in a plastic bag last week and I thought of you and your Hong Kong photos :) We named the goldfish Gelato :)

I love how you have combined your wonderful talent for painting water with the very design oriented goldfish. They definitely glow. These are such interesting paintings.

Thank you Kathryn Rhonda and Barb. This sereis has proved to be so interesting to me. It's a lot harder to paint "fish in a bag"... than I originally thought! But... I am loving the results. Thank you for your support.

Awesome painting, but being a aquarist would like to mention that they are not goldfish, but "Discus" fish.
