Marriage- watercolor

you take the plunge... and get married. no other way around it ....

it's a daunting decision...and one that leaves you in the fluidity and motion of life!

well... at least.. that's my interpretation of the watercolor and the impulse behind it.

Wow ...this is great! I love the electric blue in the focal area and then the gradual change to blue-green. The action of the splashing water is awesome.

thank you barbara! it's a new direction... more spontaneous with action for me. i rely a lot on the fluidity of watercolor.. and this painting is smaller washes -- knitted together!

What a theme! You've captured the energy and joy that comes when you take the plunge and leap into the unknown! I'd love to see you follow up on this - more marriage themes we can all relate to? Hmmm?

thanks ann and arti. i hope to do more on this theme... or thoughtful ones like it. i have to give it more time.. to come up w/ compelling subjects that resonate w/ others...........
