A Visit to my Studio

Guess who stopped by my studio the other day for a look?

I met a new friend-- and enjoyed sharing with her the development of my work over the years.

The swimmers were of particular interest-- and the one above was her favorite.

It is always a lift to share my work.  I never get tired of it... and it always brings some new insight to me about which direction I'm going in.

I hope everyone gets the chance-- every now and again... to share their work!

New Watercolors

I have been so busy getting ready to teach in France-- and preparing demos etc... that I hardly have time to paint.

Additionally-- I have an OPEN STUDIO this Saturday-- so today was spent getting the place ready.
Painting, patching, scrubbing, cleaning, organizing, etc.

The whole place is spotless--- and ready for the day!

We hung paintings-- that will show a variety of works.   There will be many more to choose from.

I will be showing new work, works in progress, and finished pieces.

Some paintings from The Italian Suite will aslo be on display.

There will be another 70 studios throughout the city open... so ya'll come!

Everyone is invited.
Please come!

Condo-mania

What I've been doing with my free time.

I have this beautiful place to move in to--- but it required a certain amount of work from me before I could.  Like painting... and cleaning, and carpets cleaned, and basement painting, and appliances, and light repairs...

Therefore, the majority of my time has been spent getting this nifty place ready.

Do you like the colors of the walls?  There's a bit of color-- Eggplant and Pear.

As soon as the appliances are delivered [today] and installed [Monday]-- I will include the kitchen photos.

I should probably move the following Friday.

I am excited!

Center for Advanced Medicine- Siteman Cancer Center, St. Louis, MO

 Center for Advanced Medicine

Siteman Cancer Center

Siteman Center for Advanced Medicine purchased 4 of my watercolors for their lobby this Spring.  I went to Siteman to see the installation yesterday.
I think it's a beautiful reflection of watercolor in the halls to add warmth and life.

Thank you to Arch Frame for arranging this sale!
