Here is the first of a few studies from my stay in France. It's not much -- and I really haven't had time to go over my foundational photography for images and ideas.But... I started this while there... and finished it yesterday.
I would like to begin a series of small scale watercolors that describe the scents, tastes, views, landscape, and ambiance of France!

thank you everyone. i am happy to be starting to paint France... it is a bit daunting! but , i think I've arrived at the format I want to use.
