In fact, I deliberately didn't do it-- because I am fatigued with working on it -- and I can't see what it needs.
I need "fresh eyes" to finish this up.
So, I did the last bird blossom-- and will put this away for two weeks. This will give me time to decompress after working so hard on it.
When I return -- I will see th corrections that I need to make -- and voila! it will be complete!

Its so true that sometimes you do need time away from a piece to be able to 'see' it and finish. This is a complex painting and I'm sure the break away will help.
Carol, you just gave us a good lesson - when you know you're tired of the painting and can't "know for sure" what it needs, set it aside and return to it later. Me, I just keep going and overwork something that could have been beautiful.
Great watercolor and a interesting blog.Congratulations.
