this beautiful little girl was a recent commission for me. she was a delight to paint... and i hope she's pleased.

  4. Hmmm! Something about the right eye (her left) just doesn't seem right and I don't know why. You've obviously put the highlight reflections in as you saw them but they don't look balanced to me and it gives the appearance of the eye looking inward.

    I hate to comment like this because I'm a fan of your work and I would be doing you a disservice not to mention it.

    john, i think you're right! i adjusted the right eye.. to make it look more 'even' with the other. you are SO kind to point that out. sometimes...we don't see the plain mistakes.. right in front of our eyes~

  6. Don't know why she wouldn't just love it!! Beautifully done and such energy vibrating off her form and hair! I am enjoying seeing your work on the commission, too, from research to sketch to photos to painting :)
