BURST! new IRIS watercolor floral



I just had to do another IRIS for Spring! The large scale watercolor relies heavily on complimentary colors for punch.

It was a joy to paint-- and fun to pull together.


It is monumental in scale and really lives up to it's title!

    I'm drawn in by the beautiful rich blues and violets, but it's your signature style that always makes me smile and makes my green-eyed envious monster come out and say, "Why can't I paint this way?" But then, I'd be you and you'd be you and it would get much too confusing! Anyway, I LOVE THIS!!
